Aiding Government Agencies in Accomplishing CX and Service Delivery


Anthro-Tech’s Founder and CEO, Suzanne Boyd joins FedHealthIT’s Keeping IT Brief podcast for an exciting discussion on the importance of “placing people at the center of everything government does.” This shift in the federal mindset is in response to President Biden’s executive order, “Transforming Federal Customer Experience and Service Delivery to Rebuild Trust in Government.”

This order outlines 36 Customer Experience (CX) improvement commitments across 17 federal agencies. Commitments in the federal health care service area include improving access to veteran and retiree health benefit information and health care online. Suzanne Boyd teaches a class at Anthro-Tech in Seattle.

Suzanne is the Founder and CEO of Anthro-Tech. She has more than 20 years of experience in leading human-centered design and customer research initiatives for government agencies, non-profits, and organizations with a social impact mission. As a trusted advisor for many clients, Suzanne has a proven track record in successfully positioning user-centered design as a catalyst for delivering better customer experiences and helping organizations make the shift to customer-centric business processes and cultures. She is a thought leader and expert in institutionalizing human-centered design, cross-channel customer experience, and digital transformation strategy.

Suzanne is also an Assistant Affiliate Professor in the Human-Centered Design & Engineering Master’s Program at the University of Washington where she’s been teaching human-centered design since 2001. She has a keen interest in connecting the academic world with industry practitioners in the UX community. As a close mentor for many professionals, Suzanne inspires people to use their talents in user experience to affect positive social change.
